NCPF Annual Competition 2020

Following the release of the results of the 2020 NCPF Annual Competition results Phil Dunn, Phil Haswell, Paul Rogers & Laura Casey are all celebrating their individual success in the competition.

The annual competition held in early spring where member clubs of the federation and their members compete for numerous trophies in various categories of prints and projected images. Sadly, due to the Covid 19 virus outbreak, the competition was restricted to only digital projected images which could be moved around without the need of any physical contact, unlike prints which need to have been handled and would therefore posed a health risk to anyone coming into contact.

Members from 32 clubs entered work into “The Miles Audas PDI Competition” which is a club against club competition in which there were 885 entries from 27 clubs and there were 103 images entered into the  “Jane Black Trophy for Beginners” sadly we did not fair too well in this competition.

However, in the “Open Section” Phil Dunn won “The Diamond Trophy” for best individual PDI Entry with a image of a “Sanderling” which was also awarded “The Joan Rooker Centenary Trophy” for the  “Overall Best Image”.

Phil Haswell had his image “Ice Sunrise” and Paul Rogers had two images “Marsden” and “West Burton Falls” selected for the Portfolio which shows a representation of some the work being done in clubs within the NCPF. Last but not least Laura Casey who joined South Shields PS less than six months ago gained a Highly Commended in the beginners section.

Many congratulations to all that took part.
